Working together with a local graphic design firm (Premier Designs), we built a fully customized website for the client utilizing WordPress for the backend. Multiple areas in the header, footer, and pre-footer needed to be editable by the client. Creating custom plugins allowed us to give the client exactly what they were looking for.
